Infrared Sauna

Infrared sauna sessions use gentle, radiant heat to warm the body directly rather than heating the surrounding air. This creates a more comfortable experience while still supporting deep relaxation and physiological responses associated with heat exposure. Infrared sauna is commonly incorporated into wellness routines for individuals looking to support recovery, circulation, and the body’s natural detoxification processes in a controlled, approachable way.

How do infrared saunas work?

Infrared sauna therapy works by using infrared light to deliver radiant heat directly to the body rather than heating the surrounding air. These infrared wavelengths penetrate the skin and gently raise tissue temperature, allowing the body to warm from the inside out.

As tissue temperature increases, blood vessels expand through vasodilation, increasing circulation throughout the body. This enhanced blood flow supports oxygen and nutrient delivery to muscles and tissues while assisting the removal of metabolic byproducts generated through physical stress and daily activity.

Infrared heat also activates thermoregulatory processes, including sweating, which plays a role in the body’s natural detoxification pathways. Unlike traditional saunas, infrared heat operates at lower ambient temperatures, allowing longer, more comfortable sessions while still producing a meaningful physiological heat response.

In addition to circulatory effects, infrared sauna exposure influences nervous system activity by promoting relaxation and reducing sympathetic nervous system tone. This shift supports a calmer physiological state and is one reason infrared sauna therapy is commonly incorporated into recovery, stress management, and wellness routines.

What to expect

Infrared sauna sessions are calm, private, and easy to settle into. When you arrive, you’ll be shown to your sauna room and given time to get comfortable before starting your session.

Most guests wear lightweight clothing or towels and sit or recline comfortably inside the sauna. Sessions are designed to feel warm and relaxing rather than overwhelming, allowing your body to gradually heat and sweat.

Our infrared sauna is equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, so you’re welcome to listen to music, a podcast, or anything that helps you relax during your session. You control the pace and can adjust your position as needed.

Once your session is complete, simply step out, cool down, and rehydrate.
